The Y-Angaza Program combines our Work Skills Development Program together with our Peer Mentorship Program, challenging young people to go over and beyond and give back.
Our Work Skills Development Program prepares youth aged 18–26 for meaningful employment and leadership opportunities. Participants receive training in practical life and career skills including responsibility, grit, work ethic, communication, and personal discipline. Through mentorship, leadership development, and job shadowing experiences, young people gain real-world exposure that prepares them for the workplace.
Impact
Youth gain practical experience, career readiness skills, and the confidence needed to successfully transition into employment and leadership roles.
The Peer Mentorship Program equips young adults to become mentors and role models for younger participants. Through leadership training and practical mentorship experience, peer mentors strengthen their communication skills, confidence, and sense of responsibility while supporting the growth of younger learners.
Impact
Young leaders grow into mentors who inspire and guide the next generation, creating a sustainable cycle of leadership and community impact.
